TRAINMASTER WITH NEW INSTALLER IS NOW AVAILABLE!

Good news for all of the Railroad Tycoon 3 players out there. If you haven't tried RT3 Trainmaster yet, now is an even better time to do so!
First available at the Hawk and Badger Railroad in February, now Trainmaster is available here - though it's slightly different.
Reto from Molse's German Sim Games Forum has developed a simple MSI installer that eliminates the formerly arduous installation process.
Now, Trainmaster is available here at the Fan Station, along with the simple installer.
Still wondering what Trainmaster even is?
Trainmaster alters RT3 so that more attention is paid to railroading, rather than RT3's focus on 'tycooning.'

THE FAN STATION FORUM IS NOW OPEN!

Well, after about five years of getting no feedback from the viewing community of this site, I decided it was time for change.
The first option we brought about was the creation of the Fan Station's own e-mail address.
That was a good step forward, but it just wasn't drastic enough.
Enter the new Fan Station Forum.
The door is now wide open for all Fan Station viewers to congregate in a single location.
It may not be a really original idea, but it certainly serves its purpose.

CELEBRATING FIVE YEARS

Five years already? It feels just like yesterday when I was busy putting this site together back in August 2005.
A lot has changed here since then, but the intent of the site is still very much the same. We've expanded a great deal, with new additions like
the Building and Industry Reference, a Downloads section, and even our own Email address.
Don't think we'll be going away any time soon! The site is still under construction, and will continue to be even into our fifth year.
A big thank you to all who have come through our station's doors over the years, and thanks to you for visiting today!
P.S. The maps that I promised in November will be coming towards the end of January. Sorry I disappointed you!

I'm pleased to announce a new package of maps for RT2 and RT3 that will be showcased here on the site. They will arrive before Christmas, as a sort
of gift to all who've faithfully been visiting the Fan Station for a long time. I'm not going to spoil the surprise as of yet, but keep visiting the site
to find when they'll arrive. In addition, the Hawk and Badger Railroad site has allowed us to use some of their maps/downloads...so keep checking the

FOUR YEARS OLD!

Time sure flies here at the fan station. August 15, 2009 marked our fourth year online. Even though this website was one of the last fan sites for RT3 to start up,
it is still around and is even expanding. We will continue to serve the Railroad Tycoon community for years to come as well. As one of the 4-5 major fan sites left,
we will continue to work with other Railroad Tycoon/Railroading fan sites. Perhaps a 'real' RT4 may surface one day? Your visit is greatly appreciated by myself and

KURT'S RT3 FAN STATION GETS A FACELIFT - AND A NEW NAME!

Yes, yes, the times have changed here at the Fan Station. Though not exactly being out with the old, in with the new, we have kept our RT3 features - screenshots, game tips, game info, downloads, building & industry reference, etc. - but we have added many new Railroad Tycoon, Railroad Tycoon 2, and Sid Meier's Railroads! (RT4) features. All of our pages have been expanded. The sidebar allows you to access all of our pages at the click of a mouse.
I'm sure you notice the difference. Go check out the updated site!
